Wuthering Waves

Set in the post-apocalyptic world of Solaris-3, Wuthering Waves is an open-world action RPG with gacha elements developed and published by Kuro Games.

Players take on the role of Rover, a character returning to a world recovering from a disaster known as the Lament. Despite obviously being part of this world, Rover has no memory of their past. But they do have an unusual ability, and some people seem to have some idea of who they are.

Along the way, Rover meets different Resonators, individuals with varying powers who help them on their journey. These same Resonators are acquired through the game’s gacha system along with their weapons.</p> <p>The game offers a rotating action-combat system with players swapping between three different Resonators in teams that they’ve built. Players will explore the world of Solaris, fighting monsters, solving puzzles, and completing quests and trials, among other things. The game is updated on an approximately six-week schedule. So there’s almost always something to do.
